The Product

  • A wine blend consists of different varietals that are blended together to create a unique and distinctive flavor profile. You may have a strong sense of which varietals you prefer (for example, Sauvignon Blanc over Chardonnay or Zinfandel over Merlot). When different varietals are blended with one another, it can create a completely new flavor that can’t be achieved by using a single grape variety.

  • Our wines are made in Napa Valley. Our grapes come from vineyards throughout the Napa Valley and Clarksburg, located in the Sacremento Valley.

  • We, the Founders of Mela, are also the Winemakers. Our blending process was guided by the consultation of a decorated Winemaker and Enologist.

  • We will update our website and social media pages anytime we have a product release. If you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for our mailing list so that you can be one of the first to know about any specials or discounts along the way.

  • No, alcohol cannot be shipped to a PO Box. Wines must be shipped to a residential or business address.

  • Ground shipping takes about 2-6 business days depending on the destination. Since Mela will be coming your way straight from the source in Northern California, West Coast shipments generally take 1-3 business days while Midwest and East Coast deliveries generally take 3-6 business days.

  • Officially, carriers do not provide weekend deliveries or account for weekend days in their estimated transit times. With that said, make sure to give yourself enough time to receive your Mela shipment so that it’s ready for your weekend gathering.

  • Yes, you will need to sign for your order. If for some reason the carrier missed you, they will make three more attempts to deliver. After the third attempt, your order will be returned to our facilities. Please note that there may be a fee.

  • Shipping costs vary by state. In an effort to preserve the quality of the wine and protect the glass of each bottle, the shipping requires a considerable level of care. Please note that shipping during the summer months requires the use of refrigerated FedEx trucks, which will cost a bit more.
